
Mr. Agah Kürşat Çamsoy joined Esenyel Partners Law Firm as a Legal Intern in 2025 and, upon completion of his traineeship, has continued his professional practice within the same firm as an Associate Lawyer. His practice is primarily focused on maritime law, law of carriage of goods by sea and land, insurance law, contract law, and compliance. In this context, his main areas of work include charterparty disputes, demurrage claims, cargo damage and loss claims, general average, vessel arrest proceedings, maritime casualties (including collision, sinking, and salvage), marine pollution disputes, carriage by land disputes under the CMR Convention, recourse and indemnity claims handled with P&I Clubs, customs disputes (including cargo shortage, mis-declared and undeclared cargo, and bunker-related issues), as well as maritime-related criminal proceedings, particularly those concerning smuggling. Mr. Çamsoy provides legal consultancy to clients acting in the capacity of shipowners, carriers, cargo interests, and insurers at both national and international levels. He also represents his clients effectively before local courts and in international arbitration proceedings, particularly those conducted under the auspices of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA).
