Burak Kurtçepe graduated from the Faculty of Law at Istanbul University in 2017 with an honorary degree. Burak is currently pursuing his master’s degree at the Istanbul University Department of Private Law. Burak is fluent in English. Burak joined Esenyel & Partners Law Firm as a lawyer in 2018.
Burak assists owners, charterers, freight forwarders, P&I and hull insurers, cargo underwriters, cargo interests and their correspondents in legal matters related to disputes arising from carriage contracts, cargo damage/loss, marine pollution, collisions, groundings, salvage and crew injuries/casualties. Burak also advises reputable ports and shipyards on legal matters. Burak also represents clients in criminal proceedings arising from smuggling and drug trafficking.
Burak also is experienced in the recognition and enforcement of judgments and awards in Turkey.
