As of February 4, 2026, Turkey’s national postal service (PTT) has implemented a new tariff for legal notifications and mail services. The update sees a 26.2% increase in standard notification fees, directly impacting legal practitioners, businesses, and individuals involved in judicial processes.

2026 Current PTT Mailing and Notification Fees

The updated price list for the most commonly used postal services is as follows:

• Registered Mail: 125.00 TRY
• Standard Notification Fee: 265.00 TRY
• Expedited Notification Fee: 530.00 TRY
• Registered Mail with Return Receipt: 390.00 TRY

Fees for Payment Orders issued through the Central Enforcement System (MTS) are calculated based on the page count of the document. Here are the rates for 2026:

Historical Trend: Notification Fees from 2019 to 2026

The cost of official notifications in Turkey has seen a significant upward trajectory over the last seven years. While a standard notification cost only 19 TRY in 2019, the price surged to 120 TRY in 2024, 210 TRY in 2025, and has now reached 265 TRY as of February 2026. This trend highlights the increasing cost of litigation and formal legal procedures in the country.

Technical Note: PTT systems were synchronized on February 3, 2026, to ensure that all filings submitted from February 4 onwards are processed under the new tariff without technical delays.
