Joining Esenyel Partners Law Firm in 2023, Mrs. Turgut has knowledge and experience in the areas of Maritime Law, Commercial Law, Contract Law and Regulatory Compliance. She provides comprehensive legal support to his clients in drafting, reviewing and negotiating specific contracts such as Ship and Yacht Purchase and Sale Agreements (MOAs), Shipbuilding Contracts, Brokerage Agreements and Escrow Agreements.
Having previously worked in the flag registries of Palau, St. Kitts & Nevis, Guinea Bissau and Comoros, Merve Turgut has extensive experience in the registration of ships and yachts in a wide range of registries, the registration and discharge of mortgages and abandonment proceedings, the issuance of flag certificates, P&I certificates and other legal documents. She also plays an active role in offshore company incorporation processes.
