The Regulation Amending the Ports Regulation (hereinafter
referred to as ‘Regulation
’) prepared by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure (hereinafter referred to as ‘Ministry’)
was published in the Official Gazette dated 27 April 2023 and numbered 32173.

The Regulation entered into force on 27 April 2023, the date of its publication. As such,
the execution of the Regulation belongs to the Ministry. The amendments made by this Regulation to the original regulation, the Ports Regulation
(hereinafter referred to as the ‘Same Regulation’) are as follows:

ARTICLE 1– With the amendment made in the seventh paragraph of Article 13 of the same Regulation;
For ships of 1000 GT and smaller vessels that berth and depart to aboard ships at anchor or at the coastal facility for refuelling or
berth and depart to the coastal facility to take their cargo for refuelling
including the harbours with pilotage stage navigation, are not obliged to take a pilot. Again

services that do not comply with the provisions specified inthe fifth paragraph of Article 8 and
Articles13
, 14 and 15,
in the absence of special legislation, within the scope of this Regulation (Amended
ibare:RG27/4/2023-32173) 10.000 TL’den 3.312.913 TL’administrative fine will be imposed up to the amount of $20,000.
